Thank-you card that came with my latest Ebay purchase.

<<<< say hello to my new (old) Industar-61 52mm 50mm f/2.8 lens (M39 mount). Just for fun I added it to the end of some old Russian bellows and an extension tube I had knocking around. I should read more as whilst the focus ring moves it doesn't actual focus so it's only good for macro shots and I have to move the camera (or in this case bellows).

Oh, and apparently it's mildly radio active!

another thing I need to do, give my M39s a spin :/ maybe the next side challenge... thankfully I think none of mine are radioactive (I hope)

Fascinating depth of field. I might have lost the bits of red though they do serve to frame the text top and bottom.

yes, we need to play with this stuff. for better or worse; just keep it away from embryos but maybe experiment with next year's beans.

I have a background in the print industry, so I'm always interested in photos of text ... exceptionally(?) narrow DOF nicely isolates the key phrase, though at first glance "Dear Friend" made me think it was a spam scam, not a thank-you.

Have fun with your new toy, and maybe buy some lead-lined gloves. :-)
