"Trophies"by njsabsComment: this screams "wendy" to me, to which i ask "how does she get her cats to sit so still for her?"
all those times i feel like I'm "herding cats" i would love to know the secret to actually doing it.
the title works marvellously well for this, the lighting is good, and those blue/green tints all through the "collar" are really eye-catching.
This is getting an 8 from me, it may be bumped up after a first pass |

Discardedby jomariComment: oh that blade of grass, for something so easy to remove from the image, it takes away so much in my estimation (the oof one going through the detailed part of the feather)
this is a nice setup and variation of the feather on the mirror that many setup, and the water works well, but that green slash is like a cheesy art critic splashed this with their brush saying "No! No, dahling, it simply doesn't work".
still nets a 6 from me |

Youthful Showersby PhocalComment: overall nice detail, and a nice picture. there is some glowing around the lower left of the image that feels a bit over-processed, and I'd like to see more detail on the feathers pulled out the way the face seems to pop.
a 6 from me. |

i love how this is equally "stark" and "complete" in its own right |

West Span by BrennanOBComment: Originally posted by BrennanOB: There was no filter used in these shots, I just squeezed the aperature way down (F/32 here) as far as I could and that gives you a line of burst for each blade in the lens. |
That's awesome to know, I have had this happen in my images before, but did not know how to explain it. Thanks! |
