Trouser snakeby NatatorComment: I'm not sure why someone would have thought this was PS'd (I see it's been validated). This is a cool shot even though it gives me goosebumps! Nice work, and good DOF. |

The Viagra Experimentby LouisonComment: OMG! This is SO incredibly funny! This has got to win - at least place.
Love the facial expression, it totally makes the shot! One thing that this photo has that the others usually lack, is that you can understand what the photo is about WITHOUT seeing the title. LOL Too darn funny! Awesome job. |

Winter Fresh Peppermintby pcodyComment: Pretty simple idea, but it looks very nice. I like the use of artifial snow. There seems to be a hint of yellow in the white of the candy canes in the top left. See how much whiter the ones in the bottom right are? Must be something with the lighting. I gave this an 8, though. |

Hot Candlewaxby hughletherenComment: Not a terribly bad photo, but it doesn't do much for me. The title doesn't match the image. This looks like a brand new candle that you lit, snapped one quick picture and immediately put out. I don't see any "Hot Candlewax". Barely visible is a slight indentation where a bit of the candle melted. The smoke is okay...but you can see the beginning and end of it and it again proves my theory of "light it, snap it, put it out". The image also seems tilted too much CW. A slight CCW rotation of this image would straighten it up nicely. The black background is solid and nice. Hope this helps. |
