I really like this, such a simple and effective idea!! White balance is great, nice and clear etc. MIght have benefitted from a bit more DOF, the LHS of the tape coming out is out of focus. Very good shot though! 9

I think your title really plays a big part in this, it's great shot, with a great title! Maybe a wee bit over esposed at the top of the shot, but the rest of it brilliant!

I really like this shot, the lighting is perfect, negative space is great, the different tones captured in the skin are great, I imagine a blue ribbon coming your way soon :-) Well done, a perfect portrait shot to be proud of!

Excellent idea, really like the ripples in the sand, extra points for including the birds claw marks.

Afraid though that you could have done a little more with the desaturation part. If you'd gone round the leaves etc in more details you wouldn't have been able to see the sand, it's too distracting I'm afraid. 6

Summer at the Farm

This was the first shot I opened in the challenge and I know this one will do well!

I really like this shot, it's exactly what I thought would be entered into the challenge. The expressions on the boys faces are brilliant, the colours in the watermelon are amazing, so vivid. I even like the wire mesh in the background, it seems to bring the subject closer. The exposure is perfect, the skins tones are brilliant, even looking at the darker areas of the boys clothes I can still see them clearly.

Only one thing I would have liked changed is the hoses behind the boy on the right hand side, but that'e me just being a picky bugger.

Excellent shot, full marks and I hope you've printed this out for the boys to keep! :-)

I really like this shot, the person behind the seat actually looks a little like they are computer generated, something out of a comic strip animation? (No offence meant...)

The lighting here is great, the long exposure at the side is brilliant. Well done!
