Hopes and Dreamsby NitenComment: I don't get all the sequints....how do they fit in? Rings could be better focused. This has lots of potential...good subject. Needs work. |

The birth of.....by psychephylaxComment: YES! This represents a lot to me. New LIFE above all. I love the idea here. Now on to the criticism....what is the chain all about? I can't really make out the (cross?) Knowing the subject of the NT I'd guess it's a cross but that should be clearer. I have no idea at all what that other thing on the NT is. Plastic carrots?? Oh wait...hubby came in and said they are candles...probably. LOL...Whatever it is, it adds no virtue to this picture and should have been removed. I do like the lighting of your image. My suggestions would be: 1-remove the candles, and 2-put the cross in a position where it can be clearly recognized, so it will strongly support the concept. |

New Life, New Father, New Loveby SonifoComment: I love it...one of my few 10's....After reviewing all the submissions I've concluded that this is my favorite. Even in the silhouette it is evident that this Daddy is smiling at his new child. The choice of silhouette is perfect, and this is a very strong image. The coloring is fantastic too. My # 1 choice...I hope you win. Grayce...aka...gracious |

Gothic Detailby kmtolkComment: It's great that you got low enough to capture this good angle. There is a little too much detail crowded into this composition though. For the most part the dof is good. So is the light exposure. Although I love blue skies, in this case a black and white image would have sufficed. The blue draws my attention away from the detail of the subject. |

Time Passagesby GotchaComment: I like the textural background, and love the repetitious circles represented by the watch and wheels. I must admit that it bothers me to have part of the horse's head showing and not the whoe thing and would like the watch to be over to my left more, to overlap the wheel. I'm sure many would disagree so it really is just a matter of taste. All that said, I do like this image. |

After the falloutby BAMartinComment: Although I wouldn't choose to hang this in my personal space, it attempts to make a statement and I applaud that. Making pictures is a rewarding way to communicate with others. Black and white was a good choice for this image...conveys "bleak" to me. |
