Love Is Like A Butterflyby browntComment: The butterfly is gorgeous against the desaturated leaves. I think green leaves would both clash with the overall butterfly and blended into the green edges. I'd love to know how you selected the delicate feelers to keep them colored while the background was desaturated. |

'tinker'by suemackComment: An especially nice rendition of what has become something of a cliche among desaturation shots. I probably would have entered a similar shot if could have gotten my cat to cooperate during the challenge period. I have taken a lot of desaturated cat-colored eyes in the past. |
