Wanda the Tropical Fishby Pug-HComment: Great Discus shot :0), love the crop and the DOF although the fin would have been great a bit sharper yet a difficult capture I'm sure as I used to have a couple of discus - very timid creatures indeed from what I recall as mine were quite easy to upset if I broke there routine. Be nice to see some of the out takes after the challenge ends... 10 |

Contactby PanoComment: Great composition but I think that although the colour of the Discus could be better with the use of different light the eye is too dark but perhaps you wanted the dark background to emphasize the fish. Just a shame the vivid colours seen around the edges were not more prominent all over :0) Good shot |

Zackby GolferDDSComment: POssibly needs the levels bringing up a little as the could look a little greener ( the live bits ) and the frisbie is also very very stark. |

"Buds"by sfarrell23Comment: love the border but feel that you could have gone with a single pixel line and a continution of the image to give it a great NEW effect, if unsure ho wI mean please contact me once the challenge finishes ( yeah I know thats quite picky but just saying what I feel ), and theres nout wrong with the shot BTW :0) good job 8 |

Wider Road to Comeby dahvedComment: Great angle and composition yet I feel you have gone over the top on the contrast as there is a very strong outline on top of the trees and the reflection in the puddle, also the yellows are going slightly day-glo green and my mind just wants them to be a vibrant yellow. |

In the beginning of the spring, an almond treeby pasaroComment: There may well be an actual focus but possibly due to resizing it seems to have lost any apparent crispness on the petals, the shot is very similar throughout and also lacks an overall focal point, great idea but had the above of come in and you had used a little less DOF to focus in on one point and blur the rest of the same things in the image this would be a fantastic shot. Good effort :0) |

The Final Cutby UNCLEBROComment: slight overkill on the border and the top left is too bright, seems like the top left either has something missing or is just too bright. |

A Easter Prayerby BigRComment: far too much grey in this shot, would be better if it were more grainy and a true B+W shot. |

In the begining they were manby jigglebugComment: using a polariser here ( if camera can take one ) would really improve this by removing the nasty glass glare on the bottom of the shot and I would also have cropped the dark black diagonal line from the left as it distracts from the ape too. |
