Nice idea--I think the right portion is distracting--I would have suggested a crop, either all, or if you wanted the corner, maybe just include the first quarter inch of the facing plane.

Dad's Little Old Rocker

Very good lighting effect and I like the toning. I know it's difficult without editing but this would be improved withought the hotspots (mainly the one on the arm and the one showing through the back left of the chair). Also, compositionally, I think it might have been better to be on the right side of the frame, since the chair is facing left. Still overall, you've achieved the goal of making something mundane extraordinary!

This was a good board game choice, and the low angle and the colors are strking. I like the shallow DOF, but it's perhaps a bit too shallow IMHO
