I don't quite see what it has to do with proportions but I really like the shot. Might have been a good abstract entry, or even serendipity (called discovery of X-Rays, might have ended up next to Labuda's. ;) |

Knotby SMW409Comment: Very nice wood texture, and I think it works well as an abstract (I hope you are not getting a lot of I can tell what this is! Lovely colors and shapes. I like how the major line goes on the diagonal as well. |

Swim Toward the Lightby photomComment: Interesting scene and good overall abstract. Excellent overall and one of my top picks. However, to me it lacks a little of the needed pop--perhaps in contrast. Might also be interesting to see how it looks in different orientations. |

Piercedby mcmurmaComment: Well done with good colors. I would suggest thinking about a way to reduce the orange area at the top and side. Maybe a square crop might have given it a bit more attention to the interesting curves and foreground colors. |
