I Dream of Eternal Spring by ccraftComment: Congrat's Christina! Superb shot. It's not often I can pick the winning shot! (Not that the shots I picked aren't good, but the other voters usually don't agree with my taste!) |

Journeyby fifieldComment: I like this concept a lot. A couple of things might have improved it and made it more a dream--some softening, or better yet a soft glow, and a bit different posture by the person. It looks here like a candid, but if you had posed the person, perhaps looking anywhere but down, and without carrying anything (unless you wanted to give him a lot of stuff to carry and make it a burden!). If you can, I think this would be wonderful for a reshoot! Nice work, would love to see any other versions you create! |

Captive Dreamsby naomikComment: Returning for comment. Excellent surreal shot perfect for dreams. It works well here, but I wonder if you also tried desaturating the face but not the lips? I'd be curious to see that version if it works as well or better than this one (which is great!) |

Getting Sleepyby cherylogleComment: Return for comment: Wow, that's excellent control of the camera movement blur with some stop action--or is this a filter? I can't tell, but if it's motion blur, you perfected it! I am curious how you did this. Good luck in the challenge. Top marks from me.
Edit: Removed wrong guess about model! Nice work. Message edited by author 2005-05-13 00:31:22. |

Alan's Past Comes Back To Haunt Himby Mr_PantsComment: Returning for comment: Very funny. I am pretty sure I know how you did this (cigarette pack in front of monitor or printed picture), but we'll see. It's perfect for dream. I like how you concealed the brand name here and the use of dramatic lighting. Bumping up! |
