I like it, I can't say I would change anything. If I get really nit picky I would say the focus is too much at the base of the shoots, I think it should be more out of focus or the shoots more in focus to match.

Love the dogs, I need to post some pictures of my little dog, so they can meet. Sad about the tick, we have pleanty of them around here my 3 year old(human, felt the need to clarify since we were talking dogs) had one half way buried in her neck last spring. Scared me to death, luckily Lyme disease is a rarity around here.
