see ya later alligatorby tvsometimeComment: I feel I am the wavy arm, I am there. I see the emotion of the response, a chance capture of everyday life that is the reality of our memories. Such a real image and feeling, something to hold and recall in the gathering of loved ones. |

humby posthumousComment: Wonderful juxtaposition of the real and the abstract, the meshing of reality and the construct. Representations of nature upon artifact using the real and constructed scenes to create or celebrate memories, events, wishes or perhaps things no longer that need to be celebrated in context. |

Soulsby KfirLevAriComment: Atmospheric, detached but that area of fringe between the mortal and spiritual world in its' pragmatic form. Where the two worlds meet inconspicuous but so obvious, analogous imagery of the windows and the innocuous rendering giving signals to only the most astute. Brilliant imagery. |

and when the lights go outby npaselComment: Wonderful warm mood, honeycombed grainy mesh theme reinforces containment, cocooning, almost voyeuristic view into the warm world of a home, unknowing inhabitants, unseen, going about their lives, retiring for the night. A longing look into security from isolation. |

reflectby bvyComment: A classic duality, the painted adorned self superimposed on an icon of bland modernity. A comparison of youthful tenderness and sensuality against the stark repetition of reality both symbiotically co inhabitating modern urban life. Wonderful crop and composition, fleshy tones against retro cityscape. |

Portrait in Clayby franktheyankComment: A pensive still life steeped in mysticism and dark carnivale. Exudes an expression of great inner strength and power with a knowledge of one's place in a greater hierarchy. A practice of ancient etiquette displaying humility yet demanding recognition of it's own privileged position through demeanor and symbolic adornment. Great use of vignette, angle and DOF. |

Untitledby aznymComment: A cold and clinical background accentuates the primordial essence of life captured in a cruel and scientific world. The drive for survival compels a struggle for freedom regardless of overwhelming odds. Great tone and bokeh along with the back lighting create the mood. |

Hydrangeasby odriewComment: A rite of passage. The established garden bed fixed to a wall of conformity gives fruit to a naive and fuzzy generation that leaves to make its own in the world. Very much a Ubique type of image but without the boys.... OOF and tonal blend with the negative space nails the composition. |

Passageby CuttoothComment: Somewhat a journey from childhood to adulthood but with a lot of baggage. I'm thinking Anna Frank as the background image, with all the cultural wartime scenarios and the ultimate positive humanity messages versus the modern day adult version, wrapped in a cultural trench coat with a tight belt of experience, the state of Jewishness now. Maybe a tad dramatic, but hey.. |
