 Yes this was legal. It's a poster reflection, shot from a very low angle to distort the face. And there was no real processing -- just a few slider bumps in the RAW software to bring back some highlights. In that sense it's a Basic edit. No Photoshop here.

A classic duality, the painted adorned self superimposed on an icon of bland modernity. A comparison of youthful tenderness and sensuality against the stark repetition of reality both symbiotically co inhabitating modern urban life. Wonderful crop and composition, fleshy tones against retro cityscape.

As we settle in to modernity, human interactions with nature and man made constructs affect our appearance, and create a wildly distorted and multi-colored (almost clown-like) personas.

The face literally reflects, and dominates the image , the viewer resigns, steps back, and shyly begins intellectual reflection, and the snake thereby swallows it's tail.
