Great image. Nice light usage and composition. Excellent focus and it has a nice mood behind it. I think the fact that they are together negates most/all of the lonely/solitude feeling. I can see them as a single entity being alone, but the mood though nice, doesn't portray the ones set in the challenge details. Very nice image. 8

What a different image. I really like the colorplay. Good lighting, and focus. Fits the challenge well, the difference of the type of tree highlighting its lone status.
The overall compositional impact for me is a little low but its shot pretty well. 6

Great image, nice muted color and light. Pose looks very alone/lonely Focus looks pretty good, with good general appeal in the composition. As a personal preference I'd rather the powerlines weren't there on the side, but I can see them helping to backup the roadside image. Nice job. 7

Great image! Nice prespective, the large expanse of green helps enhance the alone feel. I do wish the view was more at a diagonal though, instead of straight down the middle. Great use of avail. light, focus is nice too. Well done. 7

Heh, I like the title, gives the feeling of a long journey having been taken. Which is also reflected in the image. Nice focus, lighting is okay - would've preferred it to be a bit brighter. Definitely fits the alone part of the challenge, though I don't get a feeling of solitude or loneliness really. A nice, simple image. Good job. 6

Wow what a miserable looking day. Really helps the mood. Your subject looks rather irritated too, good titling. Lighting looks good, and the subject is very prominent, almost separated from his background - helps portray the alone feel. Nice job. 7

I love the use of light in this image. Really enhances the emotion behind it. I wish it wasn't centered quite so much in the middle.. more dead/black space to the right might be an idea. The focus looks a bit soft, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but I think it works very well with the image. Nicely done. 8

Ahh, the western migration of the rubber soled sneaker-rat. Cleverly disguises itself as an every day sneaker to avoid predators! Very nice image. I love the perspective, nice feeling of distance. Good light usage and the colors are pretty good - wish they were a bit more vibrant though. A solid photo. 6

Love the black & white aspect, the lighting is great. Good focus. I'm not really getting a lonely or solitude feeling from the image though - its actually striking me as a 'hide 'n seek' sort of image. Heh. I do see how it was meant to be construed though I think. Very solid image. 7
