Interesting lighting and color management choices. It looks as if the model has good skin tone. I think the lighting could have been arranged to give more modeling to the shape. To me, it looks to flat. The carpet and close crop of the fingers are a bit unfortunate also.

I like the whiteness of the background. It looks like there is some spill around the edges of the woman. You could use black bounces along each side to create a nice outline of the model and prevent the spill. In this case it'd be front and back of the model. Or you could move the model futher away from the background. The arm placement gave me a bit of trouble when the picture loaded. I thought the elbow and forearm were her breasts until I saw the hand. gl

The colors are nice. I usually like abstracts but for this challenge, I think it's important to have something the is recognizable as a body part. I can't tell what has been photographed here.

Immense Reflections

There's water all over the place in this. It would be a fun place to visit. What i like about the composition is if you take a casual look, there are only four streams on the right of the frame and five on the left, but looking closer, I can see five fountainheads in the water. Btw, after you left someone came to waken the man but, alas....

shhhhh. don't tell anyone, but cloning isn't allowed in basic challenges.
The picture is exposed well. The composition, to me, is a bit static, a bit to precise. I guess people were looking for a year, and believe me, they mark down for not meeting the challenge. A large percentage would have marked you down for the border. Borders aren't generally liked in these parts. Better luck in future challenges.

Good thought, well expressed. The presentation could be better, after all, this is a place more concerned with presentation than ideas. I hope you had an opportunity to revisit this one and do justice to the subject. I like how 4 words express things that are visual and 2 express personhood. Gene fits into both groups.
