Overhauling Historyby mbardeenComment: I like it because of the position and activity of the four men. Good capture. Have you considered cropping this in a vertical pano with just the guys and a little to the left and right left in? It's really a pleasure to look at this. |

Lurkingby soupComment: It's a cat. Right? I like your bold take on the subject but the way s/he is framed makes it a bit confusing. Maybe if there was more light on the nose it would help define the cat's face more. |

Carnivorous Plants: Nepenthes Rafflesianaby amsmythComment: Lovely flower, the colors are perfect and the shallow dof is exactly right. I like the framing also. It looks like you cropped a lot out of the picture and the resized it. It does degrade the quality of the picture somewhat when that happens. Or maybe you used the digital zoom part of your zoom? |

Cheap sunglassesby kernalklikComment: Didn't think this would do so well, but I always hope for the best. Did you manually set the exposure? It must have been hard getting it right. Good luck in the future, you have a good imagination. |

Along the peerby jjbeguinComment: Pier. Couldn't resist. The water in front looks really funky in a pleasant sort of way. SO much so, I find myself studying it more than the swans. What an opportunity for a cool abstract! Seems they are more in focus that the swans. |

Bush Living 'tradition without technology'by camelotnorthComment: Good colors. You created a fairly good picture of rural life. For me, the picture is too busy and is out of season(Christmas cards and decorations). I can see a wall plug right behind your subject so the title doesn't fit the picture. I do see that she is living in a pretty rustic place and you did a great job with your lighting. |

Lord and Masterby ImagineerComment: A good human interest shot. Good composition and colors. It seems odd that you didn't ask them to turn towards you, like they were protecting their property or greeting you. A pretty picture anyway. |

By the riverby marboComment: Beautifully composed with a wide range of interesting subjects. It looks a bit hazy and it might have been improved by using a uv or polorizer. The reason I suggest it is because I want to see the castle(?) more clearly. If you did use one of these, please ignore my comment. |
