Polishing Diamondsby selectivememoryComment: I've been looking at this again and was thinking that if it had a vertical ratio the idea of height would be exaggerated and I think that is what I'm missing. |

Trafficby banmornComment: I like this even better now that I see you did use a piece of metal. Good catch. Sorry you didn't place higher. What I find most interesting is that you caught a police car and a bus. Sorta like cops and robbers! Well, maybe it's a cab, but don't tell me, I'd rather think it's a cop. |

The Forest of Ozby KylieComment: I like this the better than Twisted Forest II. The colors are richer and the contrast not as harsh. I think I would like it even better if you could go back at a darker time of day. It seems to just shout out for a dark and moody atmosphere. BTW, do you see the face looking down from the 1/3 top right intersection? |

Purpleby nicklevyComment: I agree about the lighting. Did you try cropping down to just the flower? I think with the amount of detail you have it would make an interesting abstract. |

fireworks22by shutterflyComment: The reflection adds a depth to this one that isn't present in most fireworks photos. Good job on the timing and framing. |

Glowing Brideby trying2bstillComment: I like the noise and there is a flowing symmetry to the picture. My personal feeling about this is it would be better to at least see some detail in the bride's face. It looks like maybe she is turned away from the camera, hard to tell. |

Going Homeby awpollardComment: That is one shiny car. The colors are attractive. I don't know, but this looks like something happened in post processing or maybe camera shake during the exposure but the double outline causes my eyes to hurt. Sometimes neat image helps and sometimes it doesn't. I think in this case it doesn't. |

Father & Sonby kosmikkreeperComment: What a nice feeling this has. There are quiet a few things that are appealing. The solitude of the people, the color treatment, the composition. All good. I think the picture might have looked better with the sun down a little more. Also there is a haze or halo around the people that could have been removed in post processing. It's really amazing how well this is exposed considering how the sun is almost in the center. |

Escape into woolgatheringby NonageComment: I feel sorta uncomfortable looking at this because most of the frame is taken up with the hiding place of the photographer (and extends to me as the viewer) and most of that is dark and the focus is even on that area. Sorry, not my cup of tea. |

Garden Jewelsby carlacrypticComment: The color that is in the picture is nice. The choice of dof created some nice blurring on the futher leaves while allowing good detail on the front leaves and water. I like how the light penetrates the leaves causing the tranlucient color on the left center leaf. Unfortunately, I think because of the strong light, this looks overexposed. IMO, it would have been outstanding if there was a little more than a hint of green in the composition. |
