Snow Leopardby AlainComment: Great detail and crispness. Lovely isolation of the subject even though the BG is has the same tones as the subject! Good PP. Should do well |

The Impending Storm....by NikonJebComment: Love the trees on top of the old pillars! Wonderful PP work and captures the mood well. Maybe a touch more contrast in the clouds would have highlighted the edges of the storm clouds coming |

Portrait of a Landscapeby SirashleyComment: I bet you people are going to say that the horison is skew... even though it is getting closer to you on the right hand side. A very nice shot and PP suits the image very nicely. It might have a bit too much space on the top though as the clouds arent as interesting all the way to the edge of the frame. |

The Screamby leonedavisComment: The stillness of death contrasted by the movement of life (water). Very interesting. Might be a little underexposed but it goes with the dark theme of death I guess. The subject is very sharp and stands out quite well from the BG. Made me think - but very macabre |

Morning Reflectionsby OzzieComment: One of the best I have seen so far - these shots really appeal to me. The jetty seems to be leading us from the dark (evil) towards the light (good). Not sure about the cropped tree / island on the left though - a little distracting. |

"Lots of water,...that's my beauty secret"by bcenuComment: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though... haha
A truly special shot. I know the DOF is extremely shallow in macro but I wish more of the front half of the face was in focus too... maybe even the whole drop of water as well. Composition is really good though! |

Afterby spiritualspatulaComment: After...the Mother ship has just left...
Just joking - a very heavy PP effect but I actually really like it! It emphasizes the beams of light coming through the clouds. The leading lines in the field draw your eye to the beams. Composition is really good too. Might not be eye-candy enough to really do well but I sure like it. |

Senioritis IIby kvickreyComment: The title - I looked it up on Wiki and it says procrastination, lack of motivation, a drop in academic performance, a desire to drop out of school... Not sure how it fits here unless this is a student that is meant to be working.
The picture - I really like it. The lighting is excellent and the composition is really pleasing to the eye. The only small nit is the lighter "beam" of light coming out of the flowers and extending to the right of the frame. |

Morning Hummerby SJCarterComment: Its almost amazing how well the background mimics the bird... green below to match the green feathers, yellow top left to match the wing with the light shining through the feathers, blues top right to match the beak... Magical!
Not sure if the extreme highlights are blown or not but they are a little distracting |
