my canby jmritzComment: If only you had cropped out whatever that is in the foreground, this would have been a strangely haunting image |

Grandpa's Garbageby patrinaritterComment: A different angle or a shift of the shapes in the frame would have contributed to the composition of this concept, and the use of a diffuser or bounce flash would have softened the light, reducing the glare of the tobacco pouch. The highlight on the pipe is nice. |

Jour de feteby mariucaComment: I KNEW that some people would like it! May the bold be rewarded, whether they be "right" or not. By the way, I have an old powershot I-don't-know-what-model that generates images much like your original no matter what I do. Not sure what's wrong with it, but it does some delightfully interesting things sometimes. Like a really screwed-up roll of expired film . . . remember those days? |

do a little danceby posthumousComment: I thought this was your work, but ran out of time before I could vote/comment. Too darn bad, because I loved it. My procrastination was your loss. Funny how most of my favorites end up no better than the bottom half, to hell with scores. |

jump for joyby GilesComment: Your (that is you, right?) tiny self in comparison to the scale of this image as well as the hopeful rays of light through the clouds makes for an enjoyable picture. What luck, that the clouds allowed that bit of bright blue around your silouhette! |

Can't Read My Poker Faceby hopefulcrafty1Comment: Waaay too devious for a poker face, man! A bit of burn on those cards with a bit of dodge on your eyes and face would have brought my attention up to your face and away from the cards. This would have enhanced your concept of the "poker face," i.e. distracting me from the cards with your wily expression instead of being drawn towards the glare of the cards in your hand. Be careful with reflections of curved, glossy surfaces when using a flash or correct them PP. |
