Metal to metal, rust to rust by sarampoComment: Great shot João! ... and another megascore!
If you don't mind I have a few critics.
I would have decentered the subject (to the right) adding more dynamics to the photo. The subject with it's strong lines and perspective is drawing attention to the bridge but unfortunately that attention is thrown out of the frame.
Focus also seems a bit off (on the bridge and on the farther tip of the crane) but you have an excuse with such low light.
Keep it up, it's always great to see what you can come up with, week after week!
I hope to rejoin you guys later in the year but I had a reasonable deal for my camera so I had to sell it.
Perhaps I'll put in a few with the Fuji compact... :) |

Who put this here??by sarampoComment: Originally posted by LydiaToo: Hate the title and the tilt... need more tilt or to be straith up (in my opinion). But... I love the image composition. (voting later) |
Tilt? What tilt? I think what 90% of what you're seeing is perspective convergence!
I like the dynamic in this photo, I just wish the colors were less muted, but I know this site and this is a tricky shot due to the massive amount of DR needed to capture it.

Down by the Creekby butterntoast43Comment: This one needed a ND on the sky.
As a consequence of the blown highlights on the sky/mountain, it looses definition. This is one of those times when too much contrast doesn't help. |

Silky smoothby sarampoComment: Fantástica!
Great balance between foreground and background interest!
How did you managed so much DOF? Is this a double focus take? |
