Well, this was the entry that I submitted closest to the deadline, since it was 3 hours remaining (and given the time difference, it was pretty late here :)

Half a day into voting and I got my entry being validated, I was perfectly expecting this, since the exposure is not possible without a long double exposure in one single RAW file.

This is the same technique as this , but this time with my 10-20 mm Sigma, so I guess it was a new record for one exposure (10mm -> 300mm) :-O

This was also done in a desolated place, and I was alone, so I was a bit unconfortable doing this. So quick thing, three tries and this was the chosen one.

Good score for starting, in the mid 6's, not complaining here, since I lost a bit of detail on the actual rust :-P

I don't understand your explanation, could you please let me know what you mean about "long double exposure in one single RAW file," and tell me how you did it? (I understand that a good magician never reveals their secrets, but if you made an exception I'd appreciate it!)

Nice job, and that was a good trick too. I have done similar shots using 300mm and a 15mm fisheye, but with an in camera double exposure.
There is a bit of a distraction that the moon is in front of the cloud in this one.

Such tension between the two. Very original.

This is a nice shot. What a great way to build a beautiful picture around the rusted subject!

Great shot. My eye is drawn more to the moon rather than the "rust."

Looks like it's reaching for the moon. Never thought an old pylon could be so emotional~~
