Painting the urban landscape

Your choice of color has added so much to this image, I think. There is drama and interest and a true sense of "urban" here. I keep coming back to look at it again. It appeals to me on many levels without me understanding exactly why. It reminds me a bit of West Side Story or a set of a Broadway play. In any case, this is stunning. Great job.

I love this image and voted it quite high. I do find it awkward that the eye is drawn from right to left instead of the more natural left to right. If it were mine (and I sure do wish it was!) I would also crop the sky closer and include more water in the forerground to get the horizon off center a bit more. These are only suggestions of course...this shot is already wonderful.

Wonderful repetetive elements, great color and composition, everything is quite pleasing. The only drawback I can see is that "landscape" implies "outdoors" to me. However, I didn't let that stand in the way of voting this high.

This is gorgeous! Here is a perfect blend of the awesome facade of the city reflecting the majesty of the sky. I like the tight crop to exclude any real sky, catching only the reflection. Excellent urban landscape.

This is really a wonderful photograph. I surely hope it was staged and this heartbreaking nightmare didn't really happen. Beautiful lighting and color and excellent composition.
