excellent use of light and black. one of my favorites. smart border choice. My only (and very minor) criticism would be to have used a true silver spoon or one without water spots. the spoon looks streaky on my monitor which compared to the absolutely pristine shininess of everything else...Still, that being said 10

wicked nice use of pattern, love the doily, love the china pattern, the the super sharpness of the cake bringing up the texture and the bokeh style focal drop-off. can i have a piece of this 10

the cake is beautiful but, on my monitor at least, the detail seems to be lost by fill lighting. This would be spectacular against a light brown , orange, ecru or green backing.

I looked at this for quite a while and just don't get it. I understand the play on words but on my monitor it is so grainy and blurry that I honestly can't make out what you wanted to bring to the viewer.

Most HDRs turn me off. This however is the type of thing that is honestly best served by HDR processing. love the vintage appearance and depth of color. I know how hard it is to pull this off without blowing out the well lit interior of the booth (been at fair all week and have tried to get this type or shot with minimal success) Possibly one of my favorite HDR-type ever. 9
