Nice scene, definitely needs a pop of color on the trail to add interest.

Lovely. I think the lines of the edges of her nose needs a little shadow to define those edges. It looks a little bulbous as it is. I am no expert, but maybe a little touch of the burn brush to create that edge?? Otherwise, a great portrait.

I like the concept here. A couple of things to think about for the next one... I think the tub is too small to hold the child. His face is all scrunched because it is being held tight to his body by the edge of the tub. The shot seems a little top heavy and out of balance, because the composiiton is an inverted triangle shape. Perhaps shooting from a slightly higher angle would help these two issues. I also think the processing is a little dark and grungy for a baby shot. Perhaps changing out the background and the textured blanket to something softer, as well as using lighter clothing on the baby.

I love the "quackadoodle" in the background there.

Such an interesting story to choose to illustrate. And I love how you used the dark tones to give this a sense of the dark mood of the story. It is interesting to see the emotions on Salome's face. In the story, she was portrayed as a real harlot, a wicked woman. And here you have shown that she understands the depth of her depravity after being shown the results of her wishes carried out. She is turning away, as if in disgust.

Nice job mixing the differing light sources in the background and on the hands. Alos in creating the composite of the clay and the person in the hands. A wonderful job of illustrating the creation story.

This is wonderful! I love the expression and the light on her face... as she realizes and succumbs to her fate. The texture of the salt overlay is like brush strokes and gives this a feeling of being a painting.

I think this is a bit too bright by a half stop or more. I am noticing quite a bit of noise in the shadow area, like there wants to be detail there but it should be pitch black. It's a tough scene to expose for and you did get the mid toned sidewalk exposed all right. However the highlighted area is blown and the shadows are too bright.

Oh decisions, whether to include the duck or not... It is a big part of the scene and is cropped off. This football pitch is quite unusual though!!
