Very saturated colors her sort of adds a texture to the photo. The house looks like it was painted with a brush while the rest of the picture looks like a photo. Neat effect. I do see some haloing around the house suggesting you processed the house individually from the rest of the photo. Perhaps you need to be a little tighter with your masking because it really changes the light in some of the shadow areas behind the house.

I like this entry. It has good pattern and rhythm to it. There are some things that I find odd... There is a lack of detail in the pile of debris. The pile seems to have lost it's texture. Overall the photo has a lot of grey and dark without much whites. Did you do something weird to the contrast in PP? Also what is with splotches in the shadows? Did you apply a texture overlay to this image?

The food and the presentation looks good. There is just some uneven lighting across the photo. A little too dark on the right. I think the use of a reflector might take care of that for you next time.

A little close on the crop but the picture looks good. Your white balance is slightly off by looking at the bar code which is supposed to be white but looks blue. However I don't really mind that because it puts a nice cast of light onto the chicken to make it look more delicious.

The food looks exquisite. I think it is sharp and has great color which is an effect of the wonderful even lighting. What I see as kind of a drawback is the blurred background at the top of the image. My eye keeps wandering off the subject to the background to wonder about that lemon masquerading as an onion up there. When I scroll down and lose the background my eye comfortably rests on the subject in admiration. However bring the blurred background up again and I just can't help but look there.

I like how the light makes the girls face the focal point. Very good use of that technique. This photo dances very loosely around the challenge concept.
