Money or murder?by Shanny403Comment: It looks like a cut right out of a movie... also looks like it was taken with film. Good depth. I think the focus adds authenticity. |

from the shadowsby timfythetooComment: I like the use of the hair light to outline your shape. The key light on the mouth is good. A little bit of smoke would have put this over the top!! |

Waitingby banmornComment: Great character. I like the lighting and I think you could have used a lower camera angle to make it more in the style of film noir... aka the dutch angle to give it some bizzareness in the point of view. |

The Story Of Malcolm,,,by mrbig65Comment: I think the key needs to be highlighted a little better to get it our of the shadows. Otherwise a good storyline and good darks. |

Starletby StagoleeComment: Good character for film noir style however I think the light is a little soft. i think film noir would use a harsher light. Otherwise, totally awesome. |

She's all but gone...by sjhulsComment: Good use of character and props to give the film noir style. You did good using one light on a 45 degree angle to light the subject. |

I Said, Stick 'em Up!by GeneralEComment: Good concept and composition. I think you kind of missed on the lighting. There should be a high contrast between blacks and whites with plenty of shadows. I think you got the blacks and the darkness, but you are missing the light and the shadows. |

Defiance in the face of the Luftwaffe.by Jon_HComment: The title aids in telling the story by creating the dramatic backdrop of WWII and the tales of heroism that peppered the war. You captured excellent detail and a good sky with interesting perspective and point of view. The Black and white really works well. |

Facadeby snafflesComment: Good angle of view (perspective) and good composition. The light you captured this in doesn't really give it that gloomy look. Also the sky is a little bland. I would definitely go back and try to study this subject a little more under different lighting, time of day and weather conditions. |
