 Isaac with a fedora and a toy gun. Some ambient CFL light and additional light from a blue LED flashlight.

-Tripod, timer, manual mode
-RGB Curve
-Isolate Green channel to Grayscale
-Grayscale Curve
-A little local dodging and burning to darken sideburns and lighten neck
-Crop from top, right, and bottom
-Resize
-USM at 16%/64 dia.TH = 0
-USM at 88%/1.3 dia/TH = 5 (applied twice)
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 10/10 = 187KB

I can't tell that there is a gun in this one or in the re-edit. Maybe a chromed gun would have given the image a completely different impression to the voters. It fits the challenge, can't dispute that about it.

A bit too much shadow and no real focal point for the image. It looks like you have some hot pixels that need to be cloned out as well.

This is a nice POV and mood. It's just a little too dark to tell what's going on. I can't tell if he's in front of a door, or an open field. I want this to work, I just literally can't see it.
