An interesting idea. Very nicely composed and executed. Focus seems a little off. Feels odd to have the shavings in focus but not the tip ot the pencil.

I think it is too dark. I love the composition and perspective. You just lose some of the impact because of how dark the shot is.

I like the idea, but not the end result. Perhaps if the flowers had been turned towards the camera so you could see their centers?? They just have a strange look here. They look more like a painting then a photo. It's not a bad thing, but still...

Vultures are funky looking birds, aren't they? Focus and composition are excellent. Not sure if you were going for the dark look because of how vultures are looked upon or not, but I think it adds to the appeal of the shot. Like the border, too.

Same to you. I love the colors here. The snow and soft focus around the edges really make the leaves and berry pop. Beautiful shot. Good Luck
