	The Farm on Capehart Road by nam Comment: An interesting scene but the image appears almost like an etching and looks over-sharpened. The shapes of the buildings is its strongest point, a closer view of them might have made for a stronger image, but that is just my opinion.

	Möwe by chanser Comment: Unfortunately the light in this image is quite flat. On my monitor there are no details in the dark areas, and both the mid-tones and lightest areas are rather dull looking. Not what I would expect to see in an Ansel Adams' photo IMO. There is something very majestic about the way this gull is standing though.

	Saving the Environment (or Destroying It?) by bobnospum Comment: On my monitor it's lacking details in the shadows which I think of being one of the hallmark's of an Ansel Adams photo. But I'm enjoying the composition and the "message".

	Approaching Storm by Tommy_Mac Comment: I like the transitions and lines where the type of vegetation changes. Compared to what I think of as Ansel Adams style this has rather limited tones, with large areas in the mid-tonal range, and very little detail in the shadows. The sky adds a bit of interest, though.

	Once upon a time, a nice king lived in this palace by Wessam Comment: An interesting subject but the processing has resulted in mid tones without the extremes of light and dark, and thus lacks the Ansel Adams touch.

	Lumber Mill, Whitehorse Mountain by Brent_S Comment: Nice tones but marred somewhat by over-sharpening, flat light on the mountain range and a little too much detail for a typical Adams type image in my opinion. I like the shape of the mountain range and its peak and this is nice subject for a black and white image.
