Nice tones but marred somewhat by over-sharpening, flat light on the mountain range and a little too much detail for a typical Adams type image in my opinion. I like the shape of the mountain range and its peak and this is nice subject for a black and white image. |

Great sky.... wonderful clouds and dramatic sky conversion to monochrome. I like the toning here.... possibly some Selenium toning. The view to the mountains seems a bit hazy. Could be the time of day and the acute to the sun. Some detail lost in the shadows of the forest and the lodgepole pine stack. The manmade structure on the left is not a plus. I do like the layers (foreground, wood pile, forest, mountains, sky). |
