this is adorable. you've captured good texture and a very fun shot of your pet. unfortunately, it seems like there were problems when you resized or compressed the picture for dpc. that made things seem a little fuzzy around the edges and pixelated, so it sort of looks like a blown up cell phone pic. i use photoshop to resize and save for web, which gives a lot of control (you can change the quality until it's just barely under the file size needed). a free alternative that i've used before is google's picasa. it has some photo editing capability, and allows you to resize and select a custom amount of compression. you can read more here

this is a very nice image, i really like how the water is different in each section. i think it would've been a bit better if you panned the camera up a little bit to show more of the medium ripples and less of the flat in the bottom
