| I enjoyed this one for it's artistic qualities !!! The softness of the feather and it's shadow against the harshness of the rough sawn cedar is a great contrast of texture , but gives it a lovely artistic value that I find very interesting !!! |

| Well done. I love the shadow on this. The texture of the wood contrasted by the feathers own unique texture and the darkness of the shadow all work well together. Good job. |

| Nice texture on the wood. The feather is a bit too much, the wood alone would have done very well for me. |

| the shadow is very nice. i'd like maybe a little bit more space above the feather, it seems cropped just a bit too tight |

| An image that demonstates the subject matter of the challenge in spectacular fashion with excellant DOF and color control. Both a technical and artistic success that more than adequately meets the challenge subject in particular with the grayscale shades. A very worthy contender for top ten honors and a possible ribbon contender. |

| nice juxtaposition of feather soft and rough hewn wood...the B&W is ok, i wonder if sepia might not have brought the wood a bit more to life? |

| sorry but in comparison to the other photos in this challenge yours lacks "pop" :( |
