Old Lonesome by ThingFishComment: Congratulations!
I did a bit of a double-take when I saw this because there's a scene nearly identical to this somewhere in central California,* though without the outstanding cloudscape as backdrop.
*I was on a train, so I don't know the exact location. |

Got Sour Milkby jomariComment: We need more humor -- thanks to you and the kids for not taking things too seriously. :-)
I have one of those cameras, but I don't use it much -- I work much better with a viewfinder. |

My first thought too -- having so many specific matching elements is amazing ... great capture! |

Can You Hear Me Now? by texdonComment: I can actually see the phone company building from my front porch -- every time I have a problem I threaten to run a string-and-cans line so I can patch in directly.
I'm afraid my cans would still be rotary-dial though ... :-) |

Cash Crop: sunflowers by daevansComment: MUCH better image than my sunflowers, though I'm guessing you had the advantage of not being in a moving car. :-)
Congratulations on making the front page! |

Pierception by LevTComment: Well-done -- I would not have recognized this as a composite without your welcome explanation.
To me it looks like the view from the top of a bizarre water-slide. :-) |

Bikeby GinaRothfelsComment: I really like little sculptures like this, and you've captured its detail and tone very well. I find the overall tone a bit flat though, and I wonder if shifting the background to a much darker shade (midnight blue?) would make the bike pop out even more. |

Apr 21 - Dead endby hajekaComment: Good tone range and detail. Did you light the background separately to blow it out? |
