On The Horizontalby greenem2Comment: Yeah, but you need to move it up a touch to make the handrail fall exactly on the 1/3-line...seriously funny, and might have been even more effective if the rectangular displays in the background weren't there |

Colorado High Countryby vtruanComment: I like the way the to small foreground rocks mirror the composition of the boulders and peaks behind them, but I think it would be stronger and tie together better if cropped above the small rocks, reinforcing the strength of the boulders, and creating a more panoramic look as well. |

Amber Brkich of Survivor II: Australiaby alanfreedComment: Lighting and tone are about perfect; there's maybe the teensiest bit of fringing on her sleeve in the lower left. Since the line of the hat brim and her fingers create a strong horizontal flow, I think I'd try cropping up higher, maybe halfway around the curve of her right shoulder, into a near-square or horizontal shape. |

My Kateby redfigComment: Really like everything except the harshness of the light and the difference between the eyes especially; just don't think it matches the composition and mood as well as it could. |

watchingby FranziskaLangComment: In this case, I think I'd crop off the brighert part on the left, and let her head fall right on the centerline. The rightmost 80% or so has beautiful lighting and detail. |

I am, and always will be a DANCER!by SonifoComment: Only minor "complaint" is that it looks as though her hands are tilted towards the camera, making her top hand took a little too large proportionally. I'd have positioned the hands nearer the left shoulder. Also, if you can bring her forward without casting too much shadow you might be able to blur the background more and get "draped" rather than creased look. |
