There must have been 15-20 people that came up the trail during our time there. Not one of them stopped a the sign. The large boulders in the foreground here are the reason for the signs. Everyone (apparently myself included) thinks they won't fall when they're underneath them. |
Maybe those signs would be more effective if signed by "Murphy" himself ...
Pretty good for a starting shot -- I wonder if you could have used a different filter simulation to retain the pink hats? |

multi-exposure1by MargaretNetComment: I like how it looks more and more like a drawing the farther "into" the picture you look.
If you like the effect, it's not hard to create your own PS actions, even if you want to include options to change settings in the middle of the process. Feel free to PM me with specific questions. |

Lights by GinaRothfelsComment: You've set yourself quite a challenge!
I'm not familiar with "colour filter settings" for your camera, but if you are trying to accentuate, suppress, or shift colors you might try setting your custom White Balance to a colour target, which produces an effect similar to using a physical filter of the opposite of whatever colour you use to set the WB. I keep a 4x6 print like this in my camera bag:

Linesby ElaineComment: Interesting how viewing size changes one's impression -- in the thumbnail it looked like a coil of climbing rope or something, while in the full-size view (on my monitor) it looks more like a detail from an old architectural detail ... |
