Theme - Macro

I was looking for something interesting for my last shot of the month, but ended up too tired to be creative. Decided just to focus on the lines of the shell one more time. My goal was to upload at least 5 shots per week. I had fun during the month and hope to continue even if there is not a side challenge for motivation.

The lines seem to be waving. That is a neat effect of this.

there's a lot of visual interest to be had in these shells - keep at it!

i know the feeling of feeling too tired to be creative .. thats when we need a break i reckon .. and recharge ..
i really like the macros you have put in this month and look forward to seeing what you come up with in march ..
what i find with the side challenges is that you do really step it up .. take photos you would never have taken otherwise .. and for me do edits i would never have done either .. the photo of katee that won the blue ribbon started of in the editing process as something for our resolution side challenge .. also i have got out and shot more than i have been for a while ..
so i think all of us in the side challenges are winners . !! ..
the other thing i find is looking at everyones different creative style .. and being inspired ..
the comments on our photos are another very important part of the process ..
gotta love a side challenge .. lol .. :)

Interesting how viewing size changes one's impression -- in the thumbnail it looked like a coil of climbing rope or something, while in the full-size view (on my monitor) it looks more like a detail from an old architectural detail ...
