Love the Orton effect (the mistyness)... The colours are a bit on the cooler side (your yellow tones are lemony), but it's a great image indeed.

The colours and clarity are just superb. Great exposure and balance. Your shadows are getting almost black, which ads a great contrast between the edge of the water and the sunlit treeline.

Spectacular image. Great sillouhette. Sky looks very realistic and the photographer ads nice point of interest. The only suggestion - I would have cloned out the reddish glow in the lower left corner. I wish you win ribbon.

Oh, Laurie, this is one of the best ones in the bunch. I am kind of impartial to all chihuahuas, as I have 3 of these wonderful babies at home. Peanut sure is a cutie! The photo is really good. It expresses the gentle warm quality of a chihuahua. Generally, people think of them as yappy annoying dogs, but they really miss the whole point. They are truly one of the loveliest breeds around. Congrats on the great 5th place. It's a winner in my heart!

This is a good concept and would have been really nice if the nose portion was much smaller. It kind of overtakes the image. It also would have been great in grey scale (b&w). That would conceal the glare and colour distractions. Great abstract idea though.
