Blowing-Rocks.jpgby TammsterComment: I actually like this version better, it has much more drama than the colour one and I think the details give it much more of an impact in B&W. |

SEAGULL IN FLIGHTby nivlekComment: Ever since I went out a while back and tried to do a couple of shots like this, I realise they're not as easy as they look! You have great detail here, and it's interesting that the whole thing is quite greyscale while actually being in colour. |

Punting past Kingsby kaiser_chiefComment: You've set an interesting mood with this shot, it's not your usual "Building with water in front" type of thing, your editing and tones have given it a much more interesting look. |

phone boothby nixterComment: What a great idea! Love the hand coming in from the left, I didn't notice it straight away, but once I did it was all I could focus on! |

Girls shelteringby StarbananaComment: I'm not usually a fan of selective desat, but I do think this works better than the fully B&W one. Doing shots in the rain is such fun, I often try to get out if there's a heavy downpour, though it's always tricky trying to look after the camera while getting the shot! |

B&W treesby StarbananaComment: I like this, it reminds me a lot of the woods near where I used to live in Scotland. B&W works well, the shapes and details here are interesting and I think some of them may be lost in colour. |

moonby StarbananaComment: Very nicely done, I've never been able to take a good shot of the moon.
I like the way you can actually see the curve along the surface here. |

Karolina high key editby StarbananaComment: What a lovely portrait, the style suits your model very well. I particularly like the detail in the eye against the largely overexposed area, but you've controlled it well and not overdone the eye(s) like you see often. |
