Waiting for the trick or treaters or Peri-menapausal and dietingby joannadivaComment: The grainy effect works perfectly with the B&W shot. The good lighting gives the shot good contrast. Especially in the blade. It helps to show the sharpness of it. Love the red blood color on the end of the knife. Brings your eyes right toward it.
Love the menacing eyes and the whole expression on the face. Very nice shot. |

Ghost Jack O'Lanternby dr rickComment: Very interesting ghostly Jack o'lantern. Lighting the Jack o'lantern really helps to show off the eyes. Pretty effective shot. |

. . .My Pumpkin . .by ladpupmoeComment: Looking at the composition and thinking that it would be nice to see the eyes of the cat and looked down at the pumpkin and there it was. Very nice effect.. The lighting on the cat is very good. I love the way that the hair is shimmering and you can see the highlights. |

Not So Scary Monster by smellyfish1002Comment: Wow . The monochrome, facial expression, lighting makes it look like a haunting, scary version of an Anne Geddes picture. Lighting it great. Shows the contrast in the furry outfit. Look at those eyes. |

Three Little Flowersby JeansebComment: Interesting composition. The blueish/purple hue of the background helps to bring out the three flowers. The lighting in the background upon the top flower gives it a great halo that highlights the petal. "8"
Edit: Looked through all the entries and came back to yours . I think I'm going to up it to a "10" . |

Walking Shadowby sn4psh07Comment: Shadows have good contrast. Very strong bold images. You can almost feel the rough texture of the concrete. I think that if you were to crop the foot in the subject out the shadow would have more of a impact. This is a very good idea. |

Heaven's Breathby BBBastetComment: Very heavenly. Great capture of the beautiful sky. Good exposure on the clouds really help give depth of field to them. The sunlight beaming through the clouds is what gives this a interesting composition. I like how the silhouette of the foliage seems to be reaching for the sky. "9" |

Breakdownby TooCoolComment: I gave you a "7" and possible more if you took the shot from further back. It would isolated you "the subject" more and give an even more feeling of "alone". Cropping close to the frame makes it feel confining. |

Vine and shadowby JC_HomolaComment: The green vine is far from interesting, but the beautiful shadow totally makes this composition great. Very bold contrast in the shadows helps to show the great shapes in the leafs. Great shot. |

Once Bitten...by MWittComment: Very interesting composition with the creepy lighting effect. The shadow on the mouth reminds me of the mutant vampires from the 2nd Blade movie. The great contrast of the dark eyes with the vivid highlights really adds to the creepy effect. Great job. |
