Flyingby luddeComment: Saw this in screening at 1x - liked it there, like it here! The sense of floating is excellent. |

cloudlightby posthumousComment: I do like this but I'd have given it a higher score if it had a few wine glasses in the foreground. ;-) |

Momentary blissby odriewComment: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Nice, dreamy image benefitting from atmospheric toning. The blurry dog adds much dynamism to the image and I'm a fan of the chopped head.
Overall: Nicely done. |

Positives: I was glad for the title, it helped make sense of the image. I like the blurriness too - it contributes to a sense of us being too close which helps to transport us into the image.
Critical stuff: I'm just not sure there is enough in the image to make it truly interesting. |

untitledby bvyComment: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Bold - our very own ink blot!
Critical stuff: I should get it out of the way and say that I don't like the image. I think it is the toning that bothers me the most - the way the image is stripped of interest... like it has had the life sucked out of it.
Overall: This feels a little cynical (beyond contrived). I'm afraid I've taken against it a little. A least you got a reaction. |
