I couldn't disagree more. You've made great choices in content here.
Great execution too. |

dreamerby JutildaComment: I so love this photo that I fear the pink and green overlay may detract from such a marvellous image. Perhaps one of those that's too good to be trifled with...? |

Where Have All the Children Gone?by IchristfollowerComment: (Better late than never but) I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Great sense of perspective and an interesting subject too. It's a sad scene too I suppose, but I'm glad you've capture. The old swings are at least balanced by an optimistic sky. The tilted horizon works well too.
Critical stuff: There seems to be a bit of halo'ing around the top of the swing cross member.
Overall: Well made. |

Positives: Brilliant snapshot with attitude. Great technical capture and a superb family moment. Your contrast handling and vignette work really well. I'm a fan of your coloration too.
Critical stuff: Nope.
Overall: More than the sum of it's parts. Great stuff. |

Swing over Liberty Islandby nygoldComment: (Better late than never but) I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Great catch in mores ways than one! Great silhouettes and a great onward view of the Statue of Liberty. You are right it offers a simple (but effective) story.
Critical stuff: The stuff you already know - still wonky horizon and rather flat tones (your image carries it though)
Overall: I like it! |

Positives: Wow, this is extreme - an invitation for the imagination; me, I see two riders on horseback. Great ghostly tones too.
Critical stuff: Wow, this is extreme!
Overall: A challenging image with both sides of the flip. |
