I guess Ken and I have something in common after all ;-) This was among my top 3 picks. Reminds me of the kitchen scene from "Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events" for some reason. Love love the processing! |

Late Spring Pastoraleby kanajComment by PennyStreet: Contrary to Niki, I like the twigs as sort of a reference point and because they point in the right direction. Texas skies are beautiful. When I would visit it was always the first thing that struck me. Now I live there so I don't think of it quite as often, but it is a thing. Nice photo. |

Saturday Night Lightsby kanajComment by PennyStreet: The light and colors are wonderfully handled. I love the shapes and colors against the golden sky. And the silhouetted cowboy hat grabs me. The painterly effect works, but isn't really my taste. That said, I don't really mind it except in the sky, where I find the darker brush strokes a bit distracting. |
