this is a photograph of a eastern water dragon i took at the australia zoo in january, when we went up to the sunshine coast and saw shez sherpet .. i've combined it with another photograph i took at our local cement works in one of the tunnels ..

after JR Jac's comment i've put the other photographs i used as textures in here ..
a couple of photographs of water on the windscreen ..

and a brilliant texture which can be found here .. vintage background
all the texture/overlays were used in overlay blending mode at different opacities and erased from the lizard ..

This is such a great combination of images! I really feel like he is a humongous creature from a horror flick ambling through the sewers with intent to cause murder and mayhem...scary in a wonderful way!

Roz you have the oddest collection of friends...
toothy dawgs, prehistoric lambs, and now a dragon! More?

At first I thought it looked like one of those dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park movies (the lizard who's neck flares up around it). Awesome and frightening at the same time!

The combination of the two images is fantastic, roz! They fit so well - like a critter in the pipe - chewing through wires and causing computer crashes. Yes, I blame the Lizard! :) Overlays are expertly applied as well. Great stuff.

I was going to say, what kind of a zoo keeps its critters in a place like that? lol

I like this shot. The lizard looks majestic and proud. Good job on the composite image. Did you also add a textured overlay?
