    Biography: I teach astronomy and physics at the undergraduate level. As an astronomer I recognize the importance of data collection (image capture), however I am ultimately interested in data reduction (image processing). My new found hobby of photography gives me the opportunity to make the 'data' say whatever I want ;-)
    And yes, all of the cats pictured here are or have been under my care. I've been saving feral cats then taming them (I need models!) and getting them 'fixed' and inoculated for over three years since moving to a very rural neighborhood in central New Mexico. There is rampant unwanted-cat overpopulation here, I hate it. So I do what I can to save a few (dozen) cats. Anybody want a cute cat???
