after seeing ken Art Roflmao's burning pots i wanted to do something with smoke .. i found a plug (eye candy 4000) in a dvd that my friend bob bootlegbob had given me but it wasnt that convincing .. so i drew in a selection, filled it with white and did a guassian blur on it and a bit'v liquify .. i then wanted to add a bit of fire so i added a texture that had a lot of orange in it .. etc

i thought it looked pretty obvious that she's at the mirror fixing her hair while the house is burning down .. !!!!!
i asked greg and he said no it didnt look like smoke and fire ..
so that's why i'm telling you in case i'm the only one who can see it .. which is often the case.. !!.:)

You are so funny, Roz!

Of course the house is burning down - clearly, Greg has a problem with his eyes.

Love it! To me it seems like she's being engulfed by the flames of her own vanity. Stunning image.

This is almost sinister or maybe mysterious. Hmmmm - however you look at it, it's very creative and cool (I wish there were another word. Neat? Fun?)

Well, Rozzy- I don't see that either- it is a little scary in my imagination- disturbing-but I do realize how totally without your creativity I am in my own photography...not to say mine is crappy !

Beautifully done! I wouldn't have gotten the smoke and fire, but since you pointed it out I do.

Well, I wouldn't have guessed at the house burning down, but if the title had something about Hell... Love the drama!

Like the pic - bold colors, good photoshopping. I would have liked for the reflection to be at exactly halfway through the picture. Even though I like the colors and get the same feeling as if I were seeing smoke and fire, I have to agree with greg.

Roz. . I know I've told you this before, but you are a GENIUS. You are such an artist, and I love how you incorporate it into your photography. This is so haunting and dramatic. I LOVE IT!
