Taken at Lake Havasu, at the National Jet Ski Finals, Freestyle competition. Taken in JPEG, Curves in Digital Photo Pro. Skew to level, dodge, burn, saturation, resize, and sharpen in elements 4.

Thank You for the kind comments. I have been asked if he landed it, to tell the truth I have no clue. I was too busy working the camera LOL. But I do know he placed 5th in the event.

Terrific action shot. Not only is the action incredible (verticle jet ski), but the facial impression really sells the image. Color and exposure are right on. The only little things are the slight dip in horizon, the clipping of the jet ski on top, and maybe a bit too centered. This are just minor things to an otherwise excellent photograph!

I am usually among those referred to as the "tilt police", because a crooked horizon makes me uncomfortable. But in this shot, there is so much wonderful action in the foreground, and the subject is so dramatic, I don't mind the horizon at all.

Great capture, I'm afraid to ask what happened next.
