Me too. I knew of this other name, but had to look it up for exact spelling.

By the way, I may go there and re-shoot the bridge, as I had my polarizer filter on and it killed almost all reflections in the water. It did give me deeper blues, but no reflection in the water? C'mon!

It certainly is :-) But the "recognizable" part is the tower witht he clock, on a world-wide scale. Show 100 people alex's picture and ask them what they are seeing, and I bet 90% of those who have a clue, will say "Big Ben" rather than "Houses of Parliament" :-)

I agree! I was only being pedantic!

... and Big Ben is actually the bell itself, not the tower that encloses it.

I love Austin!

My daughter goes to UT. She is a tour guide at the tower.

Not the greatest of pix, but the top is the Alex Theater (Glendale's most famous landmark I guess). Bottom is Nestle's corporate office. Glendale's a small (yet, heavily populated) city, just North of Downtown LA. :)

Not exactly a landmark in the classic sense, more of a unique feature, I have used it for a couple challenges.

And the tower is called 'St. Stephen's Tower', whilst we're being pedantic.
