    Biography: My name is James Goss, I'm currently a student studying graphic design. I haven't figured out where i want to go within the field. I'm thinking right now with leaning towards print media. I picked up my camera in January 2007, and I use this site primarily as a resource for learning. I love looking at the challenges and seeing the creativity, as well as the setups. I'm too shy right now to enter, i just don't have the confidence it requires, and i'm afraid a really negative first response would devastate me. I put a lot into everything i do.

    I use my camera as a medium to create stock photography. mainly i've been known to shoot textures. I love portraitures, but i haven't really had too much success with taking them. I enjoy a photojournalistic approach with taking them, but candids just don't seem to work well for me. My main goal as a photographer is to learn how to deal with people.

    I'm currently working on a project where i exchange candy for taking someone's portrait. I hope to be more sociable (i'm kind of an introvert), as well as capture people in a comfortable setting. I hope the photos don't look forced, so my people skills are really going to influence that. In a sense, it's almost as much of a personal project as it is a photography one.

    I'm currently in a long term relationship. I'm proud to announce that my girlfriend and i just celebrated our four year anniversary. We've been through some rough times, but she's my best friend and i am deeply in love with her.
