I started seriously exploring photography about 13years ago with two Minolta 35mm cameras. I still have one but can't remember the last time I used it. Living in Florida I mainly photograph the local flora and fauna, but will try my hand at just about anything as my portfolio I hope reflects.
My latest obsession has become my reptiles and they do make wonderful and unique subjects for my photos. Right now I am up to about 50 snakes and I am sure that number will keep growing as I expand further into the breeding aspect of the hobby. My roommate and I specialize in colubrid species (cornsnakes, kingsnakes, milksnakes, ratsnakes).
I really enjoy DPC. I love being able to see and comment on other peoples work and having them comment on mine. I take all comments and critiques as a learning experience, and try to comment on as many other photos as I can. By no means am I talented enough to really say much on others work, but I hope my input can be valued as much as I value the input of others. I love to share my world with others through my photos, especially my love of nature. We need to value it and take care of it so that future generations can also appreciate it.
Outside of photography I enjoy travel, music, reptiles and reading.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. - Mark Twain
If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there. - Lewis Carroll
