My name is Kavita, I'm from London, England and I have belonged to DPC for many years. I've made (and met) many wonderful friends, shared lots and lots of laughter, found support when I needed it and, occasionally, even found time to do some photography too. If you're ever in London and would like to meet for drinks or a meal, drop me an email.
I no longer have a portfolio here on DPC as I’m no longer a paid member but would be delighted if you’d pay a visit to my photography website, fsquared images. Enter promotional code DPC for 15% off the order (excl. postage and packing). More images are being added regularly.
During 2007 I raised money for the World Land Trust by losing weight (a huge personal challenge) and am grateful for the support (and sponsorship) from DPCers.
Back in 2004/ 2005 I raised funds for wildlife conservation with the support of many, many DPCers, not least the generosity of the site owners, Drew and Langdon. The project raised $1,893.20 altogether! I presented the money to the charity and we agreed that the money raised would go towards the Desert Rhino project in Namibia.
Here are the 5 best selling images from that charity sale (which you won’t be able to see in full size, I’m afraid, because I no longer have a portfolio here):

As I mentioned above, if you are in my area (London) and would like to meet for drinks or a meal, get in touch. |
